Supplification! - By Maham Tariq (Final Year RMC)

DISCLAIMER= This article,by no means, is not meant to motivate u to get a supply,but to stay away from it =p
“If you don’t flunk in any of the professional exams atleast once in your medical school….30 years from now,your grandchildren are going to make fun of you for being uncool” is a famous quotation of my own.

Well,I admit all the phonecalls,condolence txtx ,friends coming over from every clan of the class and asking me how i am doing plus me getting complimented on my looks all the time,irrespective of whether or not I was looking good made me feel very much like a celebrity.Not to mention the cards n gifts I received,which btw I never did when I passed.And how can I forget all the birthday wishes,since my birthday was a few days before supply.These r all the perks that come ONLY when u flunk.
Writing about supply is very much like being in love “so many thoughts but u cant express 
For me it encompassed not just two months of grinding hardwork but also,not missing out on the winter trip as well as election fervour,along with all the tests and attendances(these being less important ofcourse.lol)
On a serious note,it helps very much if you remember that it happened for a reason(read my nalaiqi), would be over soon and for good,wil make you a better student and after this you will most certainly be able to count your blessings,like not sulking or ranting when you ‘just pass’.One thing is for sure it would bring you closer to God,to people and most importantly to yourself,It would help u understand how blessed you are.In multiple ways,Suppli teaches and redefines for you what matters in life.
Those who flunk dont want to be pitied upon or sympathised with,because people suffer major setbacks in life.Its not a good feeling that friends seem depressed that u flunked.Dont take it too hard on yourself,stop trying to find the reason, just wait a little and have faith.You would,for sure,be paid back in full.
The most challenging part of supply is not the exhausting study involved or the fear of detention,but probably pulling yourself together.This might have been the part where I scored the most alhamdulilah.The culprits for this are my family(present family,not future family,incase you get any wrong ideas ),and the entire batch 36.Through this article I would like to acknowledge and thank each and everyone in batch 36,and MOST IMPORTANTLY warn you all never to flunk,because I don’t think I wil be able to be as big as a support as you ppl were,and for all your kindness and help,I truly am grateful!
